Mr. Maurice Kiprotich Toroitich
Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer
Maurice is a career banker with three decades of experience, including 15 years at executive level. He previously served as founding CEO of KCB Bank in Rwanda and later as Managing Director
of BPR Bank Rwanda. Maurice’s leadership style is defined by robust stakeholder engagement and an unwavering commitment to risk management and good governance. He holds an MBA from
Strathmore University and a bachelor’s degree in commerce from the University of Nairobi. He is a Certified Public Accountant, an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers and also a certified Executive Coach.
Mr. Nicholas N. Musyoka
Head of Finance
Mr. Nicholas N. Musyoka is a chartered accountant and member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants (Kenya) with over 20 years in banking and financial management. Prior to joining NCBA, he worked for KCB Bank in Kenya and the East Africa region, gaining experience in finance, strategy, credit risk, treasury and branch operations. He is well versed in project management, having successfully led the implementation of ERP and core banking solutions. Nicholas also counts among his skills financial modelling, strategic mindset, designing and implementing business plans and leadership within the financial department, as well as working closely with the executive management team to drive the organizational goals to fruition.
Mr. Annibale Shyaka
Head of Global Markets
Mr Annibale joined NCBA Rwanda in the Global Markets Department in January 2021 as a Senior Dealer for the Global Markets, responsible for providing the Bank’s Treasury products and services
to existing clients and growing the Bank’s share of Forex business through marketing and client acquisitions. He was then appointed Head of Global Markets in June 2022. He has five years of experience in the banking sector across different areas. Before joining NCBA Rwanda, Annibale was the Head of the Treasury Department at Guaranty Trust Bank Rwanda and worked in Business Department and Loan recovery at the same Bank. Annibale holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics & Telecommunications Engineering and an ACI dealing Certificate; he is a CFA level 1 Candidate. In addition, he has attended various training and seminars on portfolio management, financial analysis, risk management, and custody services.
Mr. Eric Muganga Semuzima, CHRA
Head of Human Resources
Eric Muganga joined NCBA Rwanda in August 2023 and leads the Human Resources function. He is a Chartered Human Resources Analyst (CHRA, 2014) and an Accredited Mediator (March 2025), with over 12 years of experience across banking and hospitality. He has held senior HR roles at Access Bank Plc and New Forest Company, and most recently served as Director of HR at Radisson
Hotel Group across multiple properties in Rwanda and Niger. Eric is known for driving high performance through people-focused strategies and strong leadership. He holds a Master’s degree in Human Resources and Organization from Rome Business School and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Rwanda. He also serves as a Steering Committee Member for HR for Africa (since September 2025).
Sam Manzi
Head of Information Security
Sam Manzi joined NCBA Rwanda in November 2023. As an accomplished IT and cyber-security professional, he is dedicated to fortifying our digital defenses and ensuring the highest standards of
data protection. With over 9 years of experience in IT and Information Security, of which 7 years were at Access Bank, he gained deep understanding of industry best practices, compliance standards, and emerging technologies. He has led various projects including implementation and compliance with the Rwanda Data Protection and Privacy (DPP) Law, ISO 9001, ISO 22301, ISO/IEC 27001 & PCIDSS. He holds a Bachelor of Technology in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) from University of Rwanda, he is a member of the International Information System Security Certification Consortium (ISC2), he has a certificate of banking from Access Bank’s School of Banking Excellence – Lagos, Nigeria and a continuous track record on professional training and certificates.
Ms. Roselyn Munyana
Head of Digital Business
Ms. Roselyn joined NCBA Rwanda in the Digital Business Department in December 2018 as a Portfolio Analyst for the mobile savings and loan product (MoKash), managing a team assigned to execute strategies on the MoKash credit risk. She was then appointed Head of Digital Business in May 2021. She has 7 years’ experience in the Banking sector across different areas. Prior to joining NCBA Rwanda, Roselyn worked in the Treasury Department in Guaranty Trust Bank Rwanda and in the E-Business Department in Access Bank Rwanda. Roselyn holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering and an MBA in Finance.
Mr. Paulin Kadahizi
Head of Enterprise Risk Management and Compliance
Paulin Kadahizi is a Risk Management Professional and a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS). He is a seasoned banker with over 12 years’ experience in the area of risk management, compliance, banking regulation and auditing. He joined NCBA in March 2017 and supported the Bank in setting up its governance structures in Rwanda. Prior to this, he served the National Bank of Rwanda for nine years in the Banking Supervision Department. Paulin is a holder of an MBA (Accounting and Finance) from Maastricht School of Management, the Netherlands, a Bachelor of Arts (Economics) and member of ACAMS.
Mr. Christian Dingida
Head of Operations
Mr. Christian Dingida is a proficient career banker with 20 years of experience. He has wide experience in bank operations management, business development, product development, project management, quality assurance, operational excellence and branch management. Prior to this role, Christian was Head of Operations at Crane Bank Rwanda Ltd from 2014 to 2018, and has held various roles in KCB Rwanda where he was instrumental in the expansion of the business in the country. Prior to joining KCB Rwanda, Christian worked in Global Fund projects under the Rwanda Ministry of Health. Prior to 2007, Christian held various senior roles in BCDI, currently Ecobank Rwanda. He is a holder of MBA – Finance and Accounting from the Mount Kenya University and a degree in management from Kigali Independent University
Mr. Micheal Murinzi
Head of Information Technology
Micheal Murinzi is the Head of IT, appointed in September 2025 after serving in an acting capacity since May 2025. He has over 10 years of experience in banking IT, with expertise in core banking systems, digital platforms, and application support. He progressed from Senior Manager, IT Applications, and has held key roles at NCBA, Unguka Bank, and Access Bank, leading major IT projects and system upgrades. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and is certified in Microsoft technologies, TOGAF, and digital transformation, and is currently pursuing PMP certification.
Samuel Nkubito
Head of Business
Samuel Nkubito joined NCBA Rwanda in January 2025 as Head of Business. He is an experienced banking and finance professional with a strong track record in business development and retail
banking.
He has held key leadership roles, including Executive Head of Business Development at Bank of Africa Rwanda and Head of Retail at Equity Bank, where he drove growth and enhanced customerfocused strategies.
Samuel holds an MBA in Strategic Management, a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, and is a Certified Aviation Manager accredited by IATA.
Joseph Mugire
Head of Legal & Company Secretary
Joseph Mugire joined NCBA Rwanda in September 2024 as Head of Legal and Company Secretary. He is an experienced legal professional with over 15 years of expertise in banking, taxation, and
corporate law.
He has held senior roles at BPR Bank Rwanda Plc and the Rwanda Revenue Authority, with strong capabilities in corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and litigation management.
Joseph holds a Master’s degree in Business Law, a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice, and a Bachelor’s degree in Law. He is an Advocate of the Rwanda Bar and a Certified Mediator.
Mugisha Emmanuel
Head of Credit Risk Management
Emmanuel Mugisha joined NCBA Rwanda in September 2024 as Head of Credit Risk Management. He is a seasoned banking professional with over 15 years of experience in credit risk, market
risk, and financial analysis across leading financial institutions including Urwego Finance, Cogebanque, Equity Bank Rwanda, Access Bank, and Ecobank.
He has held senior leadership roles such as Head of Credit Risk Management and Acting Chief Risk Officer, where he led credit strategy, policy development, portfolio management, and risk governance.
Emmanuel holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Business Studies (Management) from Kigali Independent University and is a Certified Professional Banker, with additional international
certifications in credit risk, market risk, and business continuity management.
