Ms. Grace Kasisira is an Economist, currently working as an independent consultant in Banking and Finance. She has several years of diversified experience in the banking environment. 

Prior to her retirement, she enjoyed an illustrious 30-year career at Bank of Uganda (the Central Bank ) where she served in various departments specialising in regulation and supervision of financial institutions and economic policy research. She has extensive exposure to risk-based supervision, enterprise risk management, microfinance regulation, and oversight. 

She is also a member of Project Link, an international collaborative Research Group for econometric modelling. Ms. Kasisira holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, a post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration, and a Masters Degree in Economic Policy and Planning from Makerere University, Kampala. Her other special areas of expertise include training and advisory services in microfinance start-ups, development and transformation, capacity-based lending, and gender-related research. Since 2015, she has been serving on the Board of NCBA Uganda as Non-Executive Director involved with strategy and policy.
