The Uganda Green Enterprise Finance Accelerator (UGEFA) and NCBA are pleased to announce the next phase of their partnership, reaffirming their shared commitment to advancing sustainable economic growth and environmental stewardship in Uganda. Building on their engagement during UGEFA Phase I, both organisations are now joining forces to scale the reach and impact of green finance for small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) across the country.
Through this strengthened collaboration, UGEFA and NCBA will work together to provide innovative financial solutions and tailored business development support for SMEs driving change in clean energy, sustainable manufacturing, eco-friendly tourism, waste management, and green mobility. Supported by the European Union and implemented by adelphi global gGmbH, this partnership aims to empower enterprises that are delivering positive environmental and social outcomes for Uganda’s communities.
The official launch event, held at Protea Hotel in Kampala, marks a significant step forward in building a robust ecosystem for green business growth. The event also coincides with the opening of a new call for applications, inviting green enterprises to join the UGEFA programme and benefit from capacity building, business advisory services, and access to finance through NCBA and other financial partners.
